Ángel Padilla Crespo
Elegance and good taste are the hallmarks that have characterized the career of Ángel Padilla, considered one of the best contemporary interpreters harp.

Born in Mexico City, he studied at the Royal College of Music in London and at the University of Indiana, United States. His concert career has led to him giving recitals and concerts throughout the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe and Latin America.
Padilla Crespo has received numerous awards, including the Sir Malcolm Sargent, Jack Morrison and Ian Fleming awards in England, the Andrés Segovia and José Miguel Ruiz Morales awards in Spain, and the Barbera Foundation and Eleanor Fell awards in the United States.
His first CD includes an eclectic range of works, from the sixteenth century to Prokofiev and Halfter. For his second CD he recorded a diverse selection of composers, such as Albéniz, Guridi, Grandjany, Godefroid and Scarlatti, amongst others.
